If it is possible to be in love with an entire country, then I am most definitely in love with Italy… and France… and Spain… and really just about any place on that lovely patch of blue known as the Mediterranean Sea.  I saw it first at age 15 from the sandy beach at Haifa in Israel, and then a couple of years later while gazing at Gibraltar from the dreamy beaches of Andalucia, Spain.  So this blog is a love letter to these magical, Mediterranean places — where I left my heart, so many years ago.
